A judge recently ruled that CBS's lawsuit against ABC for creating a reality show basically had no merit and cited a number of reasons as to why.
Personally, I think there are a number of other questions that should be asked. For example, should CBS continue to spend time and money pursuing this case in court? Are reality shows truly entertaining and popular?
My opinion is:
I say to CBS, stop wasting time and money on this issue.
The fact is many "many" people do not watch Big Brother and other similar shows. We The People, do not know where your getting the idea that American's are in love with reality t.v., but the fact is that we are not.
Sure there might be some that look at the show while they are drinking beers, smoking pot and sitting around a coffee table with a pizza on it. But rest assured, these people are the same ones that don't watch or read the news, don't know the difference between an ant hill and capital hill, don't know who the vp of the u.s. is, and surely don't buy any products advertised and funding those shows.
Perhaps, you guys should wake up to the Reality and rid the air waves of Reality TV and the audio and visual garbage along with it.
Besides, if I'm not mistaken Big Brother was the idea and show created in the Netherlands and not America.
